Can parents visit their child studying in Canada?

Parents may apply to visit Canada if they meet the applicable visitor-entry requirements. A parent’s visit does not replace the student’s study permit or custodianship arrangements.

Prepare a truthful, time-limited visit plan and supporting evidence of the purpose of travel, finances and ties outside Canada. Check current TRV or eTA requirements by passport.
