What is the difference between a conditional offer and an unconditional offer from a university?

A conditional offer means that the student meets most admission requirements but must still satisfy stated conditions, such as submitting final grades or reaching a required English-language score. It can generally be used in a study-permit application, but unresolved conditions can weaken the clarity of the study plan.

An unconditional offer means all admission conditions have been met and the student can move directly to permit and enrolment arrangements. Obtain the conditions, deadlines and consequences of not meeting them in writing.
